I have been in a kitchen my whole life. My mother baked and decorated cakes when I was growing up. Everyone in town knew my mom and the work she did.
Homemade cakes, cookies, and pies were found in her kitchen on a daily basis. Helping in the kitchen preparing meals for the whole family is where I got my love of feeding people.
I spent almost 30 years cooking for Fraternities and Sororities on the U of I campus in Champaign-Urbana. Feeding large crowds of hungry students 7 days a week was a great training ground for diversity of tastes. I have also spent over 30 summers feeding hungry campers at the 4H Memorial camp inside Allerton Park, outside Monticello. I am no stranger to feeding a crowd of people.
My family is a big part of who I am and what I believe in. My wife and daughters help with everything from Menu and Event planning to washing up the dishes after the party.
I will work with you to both create a special menu and memorable event for your gathering.
